With Dante before
the gates of hell

If we want to view the two final destinations of the literary journey which the artist presents, then we must descend a bit further into the depths of recollection, the past and the mythical underworld. After Höllentrichter - Himmelstorte, an airy adaption of the etching by Cornelius Galles made after a drawing by Johannes Stradanus of Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy, we come upon an installation: 'With Dante before the gates of hell', a very lugubrious labyrinth comprised of room dividers.
