An image and sound installation - in collaboration with Janice Handleman/Daniela Villiger - lasting two days on what used to be the village square of Stettfurt, now an intersection, assimilated the motif of an antiquated postcard, dating back to 1850. Encircling the former square were five loudspeakers, from which women could be heard chatting at the village fountain, sheep bleating as they scamper by and people praying the rosary as they make their pilgrimage to Einsiedeln. The intersection, closed to motorised vehicles during the installation, was revived as a gathering place, a crossroads, as it were, at which the fictive conversations and sounds were intricately interposed with real occurences.
